On Sunday all three U.S. drivers completed the cones phase of the FEI World Driving Championships for Singles, securing a sixth place team finish.
By all appearances, the 2013 U.S. National Single Horse Combined Driving Champion Uminco (Travis) was owned by his driver Leslie Berndl. And this week it became official. Leslie Berndl beat out the competition for the championship ribbon and for Travis’s ownership papers.

Between 3rd and 7th August this year over 100 drivers from 20 nations will compete in the FEI Single Driving World Championships in Piber, making it the most important equestrian event to be held in Austria during 2016.
The United States Equestrian Team finished sixth in the first World Driving Championships for Ponies. Teams and individuals from 15 nations competed. Germany dominated the competition taking all three individual Gold Medals as well as the team Gold. The team Silver Medal went to The Netherlands and the Bronze went to the host nation, Austria.
