The CSIO5* Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of the United States of America kicked off Wednesday at Deeridge Farms with the horse inspection and the $8,000 CSIO5* 1.40m Warm-Up competition. The Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ USA, which will take place Sunday, February 17, is the only qualifier in the U.S. for the 2019 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final in Barcelona, Spain, next fall.

Big D, a 16-year-old palomino draft cross named in honor of fallen officer Forrest Edward "Dino" Taylor, and Sergeant Robar, leader of the Baltimore Police Mounted Unit, received the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Klinger Perpetual Award for Honor & Service sponsored by the EQUUS Foundation and the Stephens Family on Friday, October 26, 2018, in center ring during the annual WIHS Military Night.

WIHS Regional Horse Show and USHJA Zone 3 Championship Conclude as Prelude to 60th Anniversary Washington International Horse Show

The 2018 WIHS Regional Horse Show and USHJA Zone 3 Championship, presented by The Bishop Family, returned to Prince George's Equestrian Center (PGEC) in Upper Marlboro, MD, from Friday, October 19, through Sunday, October 21. The annual event showcased local and regional riders, giving them a final chance to qualify for the coveted Washington International Horse Show (WIHS), which kicks off on Tuesday, October 23, at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, D.C.

She is joined in the winner's circle by Boyd Martin who was both winner of the CCI2* and Reserve Champion of the CCI3*.
