ACTHA RIDERS CASH IN - Long time ACTHA sponsor, Tucker Saddles
, has concluded their 6th competitive sponsor season of ACTHA
with an unprecedented award of 5 gaited horse saddles (m.s.r.p. $10,000). The below are recipients of the Gaited Horse Medal Award. This award goes to those who earned 100 points or more on their gaited horse since June 1st, 2013.
This truly impressive feat was accomplished by ACTHA Members:
Donna Smith and Houdini
Sherry Garman and Kody
Melody Griggs and Spirit
Sherry Garman and Stonewall
Randy Gasset and Sunrise Smoky Bear
The coveted ACTHA medals begin with bronze and work their way up to platinum and The Hall of Fame. “The activity in the pursuit of these precious medals is wonderful to watch. It's not about winning. You get points for showing up and completing the course. Placing earns extra points but anyone can earn their medals without ever winning a competition. Ultimately the medal system rewards horse and riders bonding on trail and taking care of each other in unpredictable
situations," states Carrie Scrima, ACTHA Founder.
The above gaited medal award by Tucker Saddles is an extreme example of the generosity of ACTHA sponsors. Honoring our thousands of gaited members, which comprise 13.5% of our 28,000 horse registry, is a very special way of showing the wonderful natural careers available to the gaited horses of America and Canada. Thank you Tucker for spotlighting yet another way the talents of the gaited horse can be rewarded.
