These clinics will be organized and promoted in the spirit of harmony between horse and rider with emphasis on preserving the dignity and well-being of the horse while encouraging the rider to achieve a higher level of horsemanship. The clinics will be presented to the public in a teaching format to continue to generate information and experience to those individuals who have embarked on this style of Horsemanship.

The presenters for the 2013 event include: Zack Zumstein, Carolyn Hunt, Buck Brannaman, Joe Wolter, Peter Campbell, Wayne Robertson, Lee Smith, Martin Black and Melanie Smith Taylor.

Carolyn Hunt, Ray’s wife, said “Ray and Tom’s demise have left a void in the horse world felt by many. The men that could not only tell you how to do it, but had the ability to show you how to get it done were gone. Martin and Buck came to me with the idea of setting up a foundation in Tom and Ray’s names with hopes of keeping their legacy alive.”

She continued, “Tom and Ray strived to teach a better way of interacting between horse and rider. Their goal was to make a better deal for the horse and by helping the horse they were able to help the human realize a greater potential within themselves. I believe we owe it to Tom and Ray to preserve and protect their legacy for future generations and those who never had the opportunity to study with the Masters.”

The Foundation’s goal is to generate funding for scholarships to deserving students in pursuit of a higher level of consciousness in conjunction with the horse.
