WRCA 1st Annual Championship Ranch Bronc Riding in Amarillo

The Working Ranch Cowboys Association (WRCA) leads the pack when it comes to a top‐notch World Championship Ranch Rodeo production and distributing funds to the working ranch cowboy and his family.

In an effort to grow the WRCA our ability to help working cowboys and their families in times of need, the WRCA has begun the WRCA Championship Ranch Bronc Riding! The WRCA Championship Ranch Bronc Riding will not only provide the best entertainment for the price of a ticket but also generate funds to further the Working Ranch Cowboys Foundation.

The WRCA Championship Ranch Bronc Riding will take place on May 26, 2012 at the Will Rogers Range Riders/Budlight outdoor arena in Amarillo, Texas, with a “Dance in the Dirt” to follow. Forty of the best ranch cowboys will mount some of the industry’s wildest broncs and compete for a minimum of $15,000.

There will also be a women’s division – a total 10 participants – each vying for a minimum payout of $10,000. The men will have one full round and the top 10 will return for a short go with one will walking away as the WRCA Champion Ranch Bronc Rider. The gals will have one go round to declare a champion.

Your ticket will allow you to catch this exciting event and a “Dance in the Dirt” concert featuring Josh Abbot. The Will Rogers Range Riders facility is an excellent host for the event and promises to become another huge event for the Amarillo Area.  Competitors are coming from all over the west including Nevada and Idaho.  We even have representation from Canada!

A special treat will be Adrian the Buckaroo Girl, from California, she will sing the National Anthem, compete in the Bronc Riding and open the “Dance in the Dirt” with Josh Abbott!

Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the gate for $20.00 per person. Gates open at 3pm. The Cowboy and Cowgirl Fundraiser Auction is at 4:30. Bronc Riding at 7 PM and “Dance in the Dirt” with Josh Abbot follows the Bronc Riding
