What’s It Worth: Western Appraisal Coming to Midwest Horse Fair

The Midwest Horse Fair® will host a live version of “What’s It Worth”, the popular column in Western Horseman, on April 20, 21, 22—2012 in Madison, WI. Mike and Gretchen Graham, contributors to this educational segment, will be onsite all weekend long answering questions and sharing their extensive knowledge with attendees.

With over 20 years of buying and selling experience, the Grahams will be on-hand to determine the value of western collectibles in front of a live audience. Attendees will have the opportunity to have their own western articles or gear appraised by the expert duo. For the convenience of attendees, a package/coat check will be available onsite.

What’s It Worth is the Midwest’s version of an antique road show but with a western twist. Both horseman and non-horseman are invited to take advantage of this rare opportunity. A limited number of items will be assessed each day and an application must be completed by March 15, 2012.

Along with the application, a detailed description of the item to be appraised and a photo must be submitted. Selected participants will be assigned a time slot for the appraisal on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The application and informational sheet can be found at www.MidwestHorseFair.com. A $10.00 fee per item will be assessed. The fee includes a daily admission ticket to the event and the appraisal.

Western Horseman is considered The World’s leading Horse Magazine and has been in publication since 1936. Through the years, Western Horseman has thrived due to its unwavering dedication to promoting the Western stock horse and the Western way of life.
