Lynn Palm’s Women LUV Horses Retreat this December 5-7 will include a Saturday evening Cowgirl Party and Silent Auction. Proceeds from the evening activities will be donated to several charities, including the AQHA America’s Horse Cares, AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund, American Paint Horse Association Foundation (APHA), and Wrangler Tough Enough to Wear Pink (TEWP) for the Susan G. Komen for the cure.
You can help support these important charitable causes by donating products or services to the Cowgirl Party Silent Auction. Donation forms are available at www.lynnpalm.com. This is a great opportunity to market your company and give back to the industry at the same time. These organizations serve causes that are close to women’s hearts. The AQHA America’s Horse Cares is dedicated to creating an ongoing funding base to support special-needs individuals and organizations that benefit from equine experiences. The AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Crisis Fund assists horse professionals with illness or injury and helps them return to the arena. The American Paint Horse Association strives to support youth scholarships and promote equine research. Wrangler supports the TEWP campaign, and has donated more than a $1 million to breast cancer awareness and research.
Silent auction items will be on display in the vendor booth area all day Friday and Saturday for bidding. The Cowgirl Party will begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 6, with a formal sit-down dinner served ringside. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment during dinner, including bridleless exhibitions, vaulting, mustang exhibitions, freestyle dressage, great music and guest speakers. All party-goers will take home a special gift, have opportunities to win door prizes, bid on silent auction items and mix and mingle with the nation’s leading equestrienne ladies. To date, the silent auction has received more than $15,000 in sponsored items, an amount that is expected to triple by auction time. Donations include numerous horse-related items, beautiful jewelry, vacation packages and more.
Tickets for the Cowgirl Party Charity Event are $100 per person, and must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door. Seating and tickets are limited, and tickets are only on sale until November 20. Also, for a limited time, you can treat your friends to a special Christmas gift and reserve VIP Seating. A table of eight costs $640–a savings $20 per person! This special offer is good through October 31st.
