Shoulder injury concerns owner of Appy mare

I have a Appaloosa mare who had a baby about 9 months ago. Her baby kicked her in her shoulder and she has been limping and I was wondering if she will ever be 100% sound? If you have any thoughts please write me back.I have a Appaloosa mare who had a baby about 9 months ago. Deborah,

You didn’t say how long your mare has been limping and how severe the lameness was so I can’t tell you a lot. You have a very good question but I need more information to give you a answer. I suggest you call your local vet out to examine you mare if the lameness continues.

Thanks,
Dr. Lowder
