Foot and Mouth outbreak suspends polo

Fo
llowing the Foot and Mouth outbreak, the Hurlingham Polo Association has suspended all polo matches in the UK for the next seven days. This includes the Nations Cup final, due to have been held at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Sunday. An HPA spokesman said that the suspension was in line with the decision of the governing bodies of racing.
