Favorites defeated

Having entered the final of the January 12-goal League at Eldorado Polo Club, California, undefeated, Fish Creek from Calgary were regarded as firm favourites.
However, they were to meet their match in Bull Dogs. By half-time the score was 6-6 but Fish Creek were still confident. Then, in the fifth chukka Bull Dogs achieved a 2-goal lead and the game ended in their favour, 12-8.
