2015 NRHA EUROPEAN DERBY & PRE FUTURITY Sevenchextocash and Bernard Fonck win the European Open Pre Futurity
It was truly a special night for Anna Lisec of Austria in Manerbio. The talented young rider took home all four levels of the 2015 edition of the NRHA European Non Pro Derby riding the 5-year-old palomino gelding by Wimpys Little Step and out of Fly Flashy Jac owned by Sabine Lisec and Chuck Klipfel.
The Reining Horse Sports Foundation (RHSF) is excited to announce the recipients of more than $10,000 in academic and need-based scholarships for seven youth members: Jarid Walton, Alexis Daggett, Kaitlyn Schultz, Emma Holbrook, Wyatt Marshall, Jessie Parsons, and Joan Lehman.
NRHA is excited to announce that Walla Walla Whiz (2003 stallion), owned by Arcese Quarter Horses USA and bred by Terry T. and Jo L. Wiens, is the newest stallion to join the Million Dollar Sire group! He skyrocketed past this milestone with help from his offspring to boast $1,008,228 in official NRHA earnings.
Closing the 2015 edition of the NRHA European Affiliate Championship held at the Petit Far West in Le Pin, France, was the $5,000-added EA Open sponsored by Cowboy’s Magazine. Writing yet another piece of history was NRHA Million Dollar Rider, Bernard Fonck of Belgium, riding Sail On Top Whizard (Whizard Jac x Miss N Sis x Miss N Cash), owned by Danny and Mireille Cerato.

National Reining Horse Association Derby Includes Head-To-Head Competition Between Top IHSA, NCEA and NRHA Members
Competition kicked off with an exciting start of the last day of the NRHA Derby with the NRHA Collegiate Championship Class. Held every year at the NRHA Derby, the top four individuals from the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), National Collegiate Equestrian Associations (NCEA), and NRHA compete head-to-head.
Youth participation continues to be strong throughout the week at the NRHA Derby. On Tuesday youth officers, delegates, and members went to the Oklahoma City Boathouse to participate in team building activities to further strengthen their leadership skills. They also took a tour of the Olympic training facility.
