This makes him the fourth horse to earn such a prestigious title and puts him in the ranks alongside Smart Chic Olena, Topsail Whiz, and Hollywood Dun It.
After seven days of showing, the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) European Futurity ended in the Ostbayernhalle in Kreuth with the Open Futurity finals, levels (L) 1-4. Nearly 4,000 reining fans made their way to Kreuth to see the international stars of reining. The week ended with high quality competition and a historic crowning of the 2014 champion.

Hunter, Jumper, And Dressage Riders Show Off Reining Skills At Fourth Annual Equestrian Aid Foundation Who Reins Supreme?
The equestrian community and South Florida locals came together on Friday, January 31, 2014 for the fourth annual Equestrian Aid Foundation Who Reins Supreme?, supported by MeadowView Farm. The Old West themed event centered around a reining competition with hunter, jumper and dressage riders. Other highlights of the evening included a cocktail hour, delicious dinner, awards ceremony, and live and silent auctions, all to raise money for equestrians and equine-related professionals suffering from injury and chronic illness.
After becoming a Two Million Dollar Sire in 2009, Lil Ruf Peppy, owned by Lil Ruf Peppy Syndicate, has now become the National Reining Horse Association’s (NRHA) ninth Three Million Dollar Sire with official NRHA offspring earnings of over $3,006,100. This puts him alongside the likes of Reining legends Hollywood Dun It, Smart Chic Olena, Shining Spark and Gallo Del Cielo.
The Varsity Reining Club (VRC) is an online program offered by the National Reining Horse Youth Association (NRHyA) that rewards youth for their involvement outside of the show arena. The VRC awarded 13 scholarships for 2013 totaling $5,000. Megan D’Andrea and Ally Jones received special recognition as “Youths of the Year” for earning the most points in their respective age groups.
The reining world is accustomed to seeing milestones shattered during the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show (NAAC). This year’s event proved no different with an NRHA first going into the record books: Arcese Quarter Horses USA became NRHA’s first Two Million Dollar Owner. The operation, based in Weatherford, Texas, officiallyhas $2,007,400 in earnings.
The Equestrian Aid Foundation will host the fourth annual winter Who Reins Supreme? on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach. The Old West themed event will feature a unique reining competition, cocktail hour, trick riders, awards ceremony, live and silent auctions and more.
