Equine Affaire Returns to Columbus, Ohio in 2013

Equine Affaire, the premier equine exposition and equestrian gathering in North America, will return to the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus on April 11th through the 14th.

The event’s exceptional educational program will include an unparalleled schedule of clinics, seminars, and demonstrations by nationally and internationally recognized trainers, competitors, and coaches including Al Dunning (General Training & Reinsmanship), Ken McNabb (Colt Starting & General Horsemanship), Kerry Kuhn (General Horsemanship), Julie Goodnight (General Horsemanship), Mike Branch (Horsemanship with Feel), Dan James & Dan Steers (Ground Control, Liberty & Advanced Horsemanship), Doug Milholland (Reining), Chuck Smith (Cutting), Geoff Teall (Hunters & Hunter Seat Equitation), Jan Ebeling (Dressage), Mickie Bowen (Driving), Robin Gollehon (Western Pleasure & Lunge Line), Chad Crider (Barrel Racing), Cindy Mugnier (English Pleasure), Terry Myers (Trail Class & Showmanship), Sean Patrick (Trail Riding), Geno Middleton (Easy Gaited Horses), Steve Edwards (Mules), and Kim Barteau (Liberty). Clinicians are also being confirmed for sessions on other topics.
More than 450 of the nation’s finest equine-related retailers and manufacturers will fill four buildings at the Ohio Expo Center, creating the largest equine-related trade show in North America.
Other highlights of the 2013 Equine Affaire will include an extensive Breed Pavilion and Horse & Farm Exhibits area; a fun and informative Youth Pavilion; and Equine Affaire’s fabulous Versatile Horse & Rider Competition on Thursday in Cooper Arena and Friday afternoon in the coliseum.
New in 2013:  the Marketplace at Equine Affaire—a huge consignment shop in the Bricker Annex featuring quality tack, apparel, and equine equipment for horse & rider. Put your unwanted equine and equestrian items on sale before tens of thousands of potential buyers while you enjoy Equine Affaire and take time to browse the tremendous variety of consigned items offered at the new Marketplace.
Equine Affaire will take place Thursday through Saturday from 9:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. General admission for adults will be $15/day or $50/four-day pass; children 7–10 will be $8/day; children six and under will be admitted free. General admission includes entry to the trade show and theme pavilions, the Versatile Horse & Rider Competition, and all clinics, seminars, and demonstrations.  Adult admission also includes a free event program. The Ohio Expo Center will charge for parking.
