Record-Setting Competition Comes to a Close at Great American/USDF Region 7 & California Dressage Society Championships

Almost $10,000 Raised at C-DAAP’s 'Dressage Soiree'

Cedar Valley, Ontario – Close to $10,000 was raised in support of the Canadian Dressage Athlete Assistance Program (C-DAAP) at the ‘Dressage Soiree’ fundraising event held Saturday evening, June 21, during the CDI3* Equivents competition.

Held at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy in Cedar Valley, ON, the venue was transformed through a country picnic theme expressed in the décor and menu.  Guests were treated to dinner ringside during the Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle competitions, showcasing dressage sport at its highest level.

Successful European Debut for C-DAAP Grant Recipient Karen Pavicic

Ottawa, Ontario – Karen Pavicic of Surrey, BC, recently achieved a top three result in the Grand Prix at the CDI4* Achleiten, Austria on June 13, 2014.  A score of 68% and third place qualified her to compete in the Grand Prix Freestyle, where she finished fourth with a score of 71.025%.  Pavicic traveled to Europe in May with the assistance of a $20,000 grant from the Canadian Dressage Athlete Assistance Program (C-DAAP).

Dressage Canada & C-DAAP Luncheon Raises $18,000

Palgrave, Ontario – The ‘Lunch in the Country’ fundraising event, held June 7 during the Grand Prix Freestyle competition at the CDI-W CornerStone Spring Into Dressage in Palgrave, ON, raised close to $18,000 to support the Canadian Dressage Athlete Assistance Program (C-DAAP).
