I use the muzzle when we travel or he is tied for a while but I am afraid to leave the muzzle on him all the time due to safety of the halter getting caught on something. I have a fifteen year old mare with laminitis. She was born in Wyoming and has been there ever since. She is stalled at night and allowed in a turnout during the day. I have an 18 year old Gelding that I got about a year ago. He was an only horse for about 5 years. He now share the paddock with a 21 year old Mare. I have a 5year old gelding which I purchased two years ago. He cut, reined and did working cow horse for a short while. He used himself very well and is very athletic. I have a Saddlebred colt that I had gelded on March 2nd, 2007. Before the colt was put under I had a coggins done.
