Meet the 2016 NRCHA/Ward Ranch Raffle Colt: JustGoWithItPlease

Win your own future reined cow horse champion - and a paid entry to the 2017 Snaffle Bit Futurity - for only $10!

JustGoWithItPleaseFor the past three decades, the National Reined Cow Horse Association has teamed up with Ward Ranch, Kingsburg, California, to raffle off a royally bred 2-year-old reined cow horse at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity. The Ward Ranch generously donates a top prospect each year, and the drawing for the winning ticket is always a highlight of Futurity Open Finals night. Established in 1972 by the late NRCHA Hall of Fame horseman Greg Ward, Ward Ranch has raised numerous champions, many descended from the ranch’s famous foundation mare, Fillinic.

This year, one lucky ticket-holder will take home JustGoWithIt Please (Smart Little Pepinic x Be Lona x Mister Dual Pep), a brown 2-year-old AQHA gelding, whose pedigree represents the famous Ward Ranch bloodlines.

JustGoWithIt Please is by the Ward Ranch’s Smart Little Pepinic, a NRCHA $1 Million Dollar Sire and earner of $87,761 in reined cow horse and cutting money. The gelding is out of the mare Be Lona, sired by another famous Ward Ranch stallion and NRCHA $1 Million Dollar Sire, Mister Dual Pep.

Like all the Ward Ranch raffle horses, JustGoWithIt Please will arrive at his new home already well-started under saddle, and with a paid entry to the 2017 Snaffle Bit Futurity in the new owner’s choice of the Open, Non Pro or Amateur division!  Chris Krieg, a professional trainer at Ward Ranch, has put an excellent start on JustGoWithItPlease, the 2016 Raffle Colt.

Revenue from raffle ticket sales supports the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity and the NRCHA 2-Year-Old Select Sale Purse.

Tickets are $10 each. There is no limit on the number of tickets per buyer. Tickets may be purchased through the NRCHA office by calling 940-488-1500. Tickets will also be available at the Snaffle Bit Futurity in Reno, Nevada, September 18 – October 1. Ticket sales will remain open until shortly before the drawing on Open Finals night, Saturday, October 1.
