Art Glenn Joins Parelli Education Institute Board of Directors

(Scottsdale, AZ) The Parelli Education Institute has added Art Glenn, owner of Natural Horseman Saddles, Inc., the exclusive provider of Parelli saddles, to the Board of the Parelli Education Institute.  Glenn has more than fifty years of experience in business ownership, management and board service, including serving on the boards of United Bank, St. Joseph Hospital, the Regional Boy Scouts of America, and the National Television Bureau of Advertising.

Glenn and his wife Letitia have practiced Parelli Natural Horsemanship since first meeting Linda and Pat Parelli at a horse show in Germany in 1993. “We saw the commitment they had to their horses and to helping humans develop habits and skills that would enable good partnerships with them.  We were immediately inspired to join them. and have remained passionate about contributing to the Parelli Natural Horsemanship mission ever since” said Glenn.

Researching the impact of saddles on horses (since 2001 at the urging of Linda Parelli), the Glenns and Parellis have fostered the development of a line of revolutionary saddle models that fit the horse and rider in motion while putting the rider in a properly balanced position.  The result enhances happier and healthier human/horse relationships.  Their work is drawing the attention of Veterinary Educators who are incorporating much of their discoveries into curriculum material.  The Glenn’s company, Natural Horseman Saddles, Inc., produces a wide variety of English and Western saddles suited for general purpose riding as well as many specific competitive and recreation-oriented sports.

The Glenns were also instrumental in the development and production of the Parelli collection, Parelli’s popular branded apparel and accessories.  Art currently serves on the Mesa Verde National Park Foundation, and will continue his work to expand the reach and world-wide recognition of the Parelli Education Institute as he serves on the Board.  Art and Letitia have resided in Durango, CO since 1979.

“I’m honored to serve on the Board for the Parelli Education Institute, and look forward to contributing to the promotion that the Institute and Parelli Natural Horsemanship so richly deserve,” said Glenn.
