The National Reining Horse Association proudly congratulates its newest NRHA Million Dollar Rider – Randy Paul. Paul won the Junior Reining at the American Quarter Horse Association World Show aboard Starbucks Finest (Smart Starbuck x Dun It Sweetly) earning $10,358 with a score of 220.

In the world of Reining, only 12 competitors have crested the millionaire peak to date. Randy Paul is unofficially among those elite NRHA Million Dollar Riders with $1,001,532 in NRHA Lifetime Earnings. Paul is the 13th NRHA Member to become an NRHA Million Dollar Rider.

Paul, an NRHA Professional, has competed in NRHA events since 1986. The Scottsdale, Arizona resident is a multiple NRHA Open Futurity and Open Derby finalist with a win in the NRHA Open Futurity in 2006. Paul has earned three AQHA Reserve World Championships, in addition to the Junior Reining World Championship he earned Saturday evening.

1991 – Limited Open Futurity Champion on Docs Baby Smoke owned by Susan Eckhardt
1993 – Limited Open NRHA Futurity Champion on Slide Show owned by Gayle Drennan
1997 – NRHA Open Derby Champion on Outa My Way Jose owned by Linda Hamilton
2006 – NRHA Futurity Champion Open on Taris Designer Genes owned by Rancho Oso Rio

Other reiners who have surpassed the $1 Million Dollar Rider NRHA Lifetime Earnings mark include Bill Horn, Tim McQuay, Shawn Flarida, Duane Latimer, Todd Bergen, Dell Hendricks, Craig Schmersal, Andrea Fappani, Tom McCutcheon, Mandy McCutcheon, Brent Wright and Craig Johnson. Tim McQuay and Shawn Flarida have each surpassed the $2 Million Dollar Rider milestone.

Paul, Craig Johnson, Brent Wright and NRHA Million Dollar Sire Nu Chex To Cash will be recognized at the upcoming 2008 NRHA Futurity & Adequan(R) North American Affiliate Championship Show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
