The National Reining Horse Association welcomes well known clinician, trainer and freestyle competitor Stacy Westfall to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma during the 2008 NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show. Westfall will present her own brand of horsemanship on Saturday, November 29 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Adequan® Championship Arena.

Spectators can watch Westfall demonstrate techniques for moving riders from ‘beginner to bridleless.’ Like any good trainer Westfall’s aim has always been to have clear and precise communication with her horse. Her goal in reining is to make the reins unnecessary. While others have approximated that goal, Stacy made it a reality. In 2003, she won the NRHA Freestyle Reining competition riding without a bridle — and with not so much as a neck rope.

She has gone undefeated for two years straight in major freestyle reining competitions. In 2006, she won twice while riding bridle-less AND bareback.

Westfall is the first and only woman to win the "Road to the Horse" Colt-Starting Challenge and is a legendary Freestyle competitor.

All youth, 18 years old & under, will receive FREE admission – go to www.nrhya.com to get a free admission ticket. Adult tickets are available for $25 at the Oklahoma State Fair Box Office, www.nrha.com or at the door.

The tickets will admit the bearer to performances the entire day, not just the Stacy Westfall Clinic.
