Hello,

Our horse, Bones, was recovered in the town of Minneola, Texas just this morning (Jan. 11, 2002). He had been stolen from a USTRC roping in Denver on Nov. 24th, while tied to the side of our trailer. A nice gentleman who wishes to remain anonymous saw our ads in the Roper Sports News and the Dally Times, and recognized our horse as one who had come back from the roping in Denver in a friend’s trailer. Bones is safe and sound, and we look forward to getting him back soon.

We would like to thank the staff of Horsecity, and Horsetheft for getting the word out – we cannot thank you all enough. Thank you also to those readers who kept an eye out for bones. To those people that have not found their horses yet-keep looking. I hope that our story gives you the confidence to keep looking. Once again, thank you!!!!

Sincerely,
Troy and Mary Hipsag
