The Explorer Biolan-NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series concluded another exciting season and honored three conference champions. The Midwest and East Conference winners were honored in ceremonies the National Horse Show in New York and the winner of the West Conference was recognized during the Los Angeles National Horse Show in Burbank, CA.

Peter Meuse of Lancaster, OH, and his mount, Comodoro, won the Midwest Conference; Kate Levy of Katonah, NY and her horse Opus, triumphed in the East Conference. Cyndi Margolis and Blue Wolf Farm’s Heartbreaker, came out on top in the West Conference.

Meuse and Comodoro won their series with 80 points after winning two Explorer BIOLAN/NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame classes at the Motor City and the Detroit Horse Shows.

Levy conquered the East Conference with 84 points after winning the Explorer BIOLAN/NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame class at the Tampa Bay and finished second and fourth at the Devon and Garden State Horse Shows, respectively. Alison Leone of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Ri-Arm Farm’s Galliano won the culminating event of the 20-show series-the National Horse Show in New York and consequently moved into second place in the final East Conference standings. Margolis dominated the West Conference with 116 points. She won the Explorer BIOLAN/NHSF Show Jumping Hall of Fame classes at the Show Park June Jamboree and All Seasons Summer Classic and finished second at the National Horse Show and Show Park San Diego Summer Festival.

Only two riders advanced to the jump-off in LA, the culminating event of the 14-event series. Margolis and Heartbreaker were the first competitors to tackle the jump-off course and finished with one rail down in a time of 34.379. Knowing the score to beat, Kandi McCoy proceeded to ride Power Lady to a conservative clean ride in 36.841 seconds to claim the win.
